You are very observant. Yes, sometimes we have to sit back and look back at what we have done to see the details. That is one of the ideas I am going to try and work with your class this year, is to try and understand the big idea, and then how do we support it generally but with evidence from our text. We are beginning to look at world views. We are no longer able to whip stuff off because it is right there in the story we have to think about it. That is why you did your first piece of writing on the story and will be doing another.
By the way I have use d your Humanity clip for my journal writing on Perspective-we see from so many views... You also have some great quotes on your other blog.
